Review & Generate

What is the Review & Generate step?

Review & Generate is the final step in the Video Studio.

It exists to:

  • summarize all decisions made so far
  • give you a last chance to adjust inputs
  • trigger video generation intentionally

No video is generated until you explicitly confirm this step.

What you see in the review step

The review screen presents a structured summary of your video configuration.

Typical summary items include:

  • video format and orientation
  • target duration
  • tone
  • caption size
  • brand preset (if any)
  • selected voice (for narrated videos)
  • topic and script
  • number of B-roll clips
  • selected background music

This overview helps catch mistakes before generation.

Making last-minute changes

From the review step, you can still:

  • go back to any previous step
  • adjust settings or assets
  • regenerate specific steps if needed

If a change impacts downstream steps:

  • ReelBot clearly warns you
  • affected steps are reset only after confirmation

Nothing is cleared silently.

Generating the video

When you click Generate Video:

  • the draft is locked
  • generation begins asynchronously
  • the Video Studio shows progress status
  • the system polls for updates automatically

You can stay on the page or navigate away — generation continues in the background.

What happens during generation

Behind the scenes, ReelBot:

  • composes visuals and audio
  • synchronizes captions (if applicable)
  • applies brand presets
  • renders the final video

Generation time varies depending on:

  • video length
  • selected assets
  • system load
  • plan priority

Generation success

When generation completes successfully:

  • the video becomes available immediately
  • preview and playback options appear
  • download is enabled
  • publishing options become available
  • the project is saved permanently

At this point:

  • the draft is deleted
  • the video is now a Project

Generation failure

If generation fails:

  • the failure status is displayed
  • the draft remains intact
  • no video is consumed from your quota
  • you can retry or adjust inputs

Failures do not destroy your work.

Credits and usage

Video generation:

  • consumes video generation quota
  • consumes AI credits where applicable

Credits are only deducted when generation is triggered — not while drafting or reviewing.

Usage updates are reflected immediately in the sidebar.

Post-generation actions

After a video is generated, you can:

  • preview the video in-app
  • download the file
  • publish to connected platforms
  • save settings as a template
  • edit the project later in Video Studio
  • create a new video

Projects are reusable and editable.

Multiple generations from one setup

You can generate multiple versions by:

  • editing a project
  • changing specific steps
  • regenerating intentionally

Each successful generation creates a new project version.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • skipping the review summary
  • changing duration after voice generation
  • regenerating everything instead of one step
  • leaving review with unresolved warnings

The review step exists to prevent these issues.

The CreatorOps perspective

Review & Generate is a decision checkpoint.

It enforces:

  • intentional creation
  • predictable output
  • safe iteration

CreatorOps systems scale by making the final action explicit.
