AI Credits & Usage
What are AI credits?
AI credits represent your daily allowance for AI-powered operations inside ReelBot.
They are used whenever ReelBot performs computational AI work on your behalf — such as generating text, audio, or animations.
AI credits exist to:
- ensure fair usage
- maintain system reliability
- scale performance across plans
They are not the same as video generation limits.
What consumes AI credits
AI credits are consumed by the following actions:
- AI topic generation
- AI script generation
- AI voiceover generation
- Image-to-video animation
- Other AI-powered generation steps
Credits are consumed only when an AI action is triggered.
What does NOT consume AI credits
AI credits are not consumed when you:
- navigate between steps
- edit text manually
- preview videos
- review drafts
- change video settings
- download videos
- publish content
Only explicit AI generation actions consume credits.
Daily reset behavior
AI credits reset daily.
This means:
- unused credits do not roll over
- limits refresh automatically
- usage starts fresh each day
Daily resets allow predictable planning without long-term accumulation.
Plan-based limits
AI credit limits depend on your subscription plan.
Typical behavior:
- Free and Starter plans have daily credit caps
- Pro and Enterprise plans have higher or unlimited access
Exact limits are visible in:
- the Dashboard
- the Video Studio sidebar
- the Subscription & Usage page
Real-time usage tracking
AI credit usage is tracked in real time.
You can see:
- credits used
- credits remaining
- visual indicators during consumption
When an AI action is triggered:
- usage updates immediately
- a small animation indicates credit consumption
This keeps usage transparent and predictable.
What happens when credits run out
If you reach your daily AI credit limit:
- AI generation actions are temporarily disabled
- you can continue reviewing, editing, and managing projects
- credits reset automatically at the next daily cycle
No content is lost when limits are reached.
AI credits vs video generations
AI credits and video generations are separate limits.
- AI credits control generation steps
- video generations control final video creation
You may:
- have AI credits available but no video generations left
- have video generations available but limited AI credits
Both limits are visible at all times.
Credits and regeneration
Regenerating content:
- consumes AI credits only for regenerated steps
- does not re-consume credits for unchanged steps
This allows safe iteration without unnecessary cost.
Credits and failures
If an AI operation fails:
- credits may or may not be consumed depending on failure point
- no video generation quota is consumed
- drafts remain intact
ReelBot prioritizes reliability and recovery.
Best practices for using AI credits
To use credits efficiently:
- batch AI-heavy actions
- avoid regenerating impulsively
- finalize settings before generation
- regenerate only what’s necessary
Credits reward intentional workflows.
The CreatorOps perspective
In CreatorOps, constraints create clarity.
AI credits:
- encourage deliberate iteration
- prevent wasteful regeneration
- keep systems reliable at scale
They exist to support sustainable creation — not restrict it.
