Password Reset

When password reset is used

Password reset applies only to email/password accounts.

If you signed up using:

  • Google
  • Apple
  • X
  • Facebook

…you do not have a ReelBot-managed password and should sign in using the same social provider.

Starting a password reset

If you forgot your password:

  1. Go to the Login page
  2. Click Forgot password
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Submit the request

If the email is valid, ReelBot sends a password reset email.

Password reset email

The password reset email contains:

  • a secure, time-limited reset link
  • instructions to set a new password

To reset your password:

  1. Open the email
  2. Click the reset link
  3. Choose a new password inside the app

Once completed, you can log in immediately using the new password.

Security and expiration

For security reasons:

  • reset links are time-limited
  • each link can only be used once
  • requesting a new reset invalidates previous links

This prevents unauthorized or accidental reuse.

What if I don’t receive the email?

If you don’t see the password reset email:

  • check spam or junk folders
  • verify the email address is correct
  • wait a few minutes and try again

If the account exists, the email will be sent automatically.

ReelBot does not disclose whether an email is registered, protecting user privacy.

Password reset and email verification

If your email address is not verified:

  • password reset may still be available
  • full access is granted only after verification

If you recently changed your email:

  • the new email must be verified before full access is restored

Changing your password while signed in

If you are already signed in, you can change your password from:

  • Settings → Account

Changing your password:

  • does not sign you out immediately
  • takes effect on the next login

Password requirements

Passwords must meet minimum security requirements, such as:

  • sufficient length
  • reasonable complexity

Exact rules may evolve as security standards improve.

What password reset does not do

Password reset does not:

  • affect social login accounts
  • change your email address
  • log you out of active sessions immediately
  • modify any content or data

Only the password is updated.

The CreatorOps perspective

CreatorOps systems prioritize:

  • secure access
  • predictable recovery
  • minimal friction

Password reset exists to restore access quickly without compromising system integrity.

  • Email Verification
  • Social Login
  • Account Security
  • Changing Account Details

Account recovery should be reliable, not stressful.
