Why email verification exists​

Email verification ensures that:

  • accounts are owned by real users
  • important notifications reach the right inbox
  • account recovery remains secure

ReelBot requires email verification for email/password signups to protect both users and the platform.

When email verification is required​

Email verification is required when you sign up using:

  • email and password

It is not required when you sign up using:

  • Google
  • Apple
  • X
  • Facebook

Social login providers verify email ownership automatically.

What happens after signup​

When you sign up with email and password:

  1. Your account is created
  2. A verification email is sent to your inbox
  3. You are prompted to verify your email
  4. Access to the app is restricted until verification is complete

This ensures only verified email addresses can access the system.

Verifying your email​

To verify your email:

  1. Open the verification email sent by ReelBot
  2. Click the verification link
  3. Return to the app

Once verified:

  • your account becomes active
  • full access is granted immediately

No additional steps are required.

What if I didn’t receive the email?​

If you don’t see the verification email:

  • check your spam or junk folder
  • ensure the email address was entered correctly
  • wait a few minutes and refresh your inbox

If needed, you can request a new verification email from the app.

Can I use ReelBot without verifying my email?​

No.

Until your email is verified:

  • you cannot access the dashboard
  • you cannot create videos
  • you cannot use any core features

This restriction applies only to email/password accounts.

Changing your email address​

If you change your email address:

  • the new email must be verified
  • access may be temporarily restricted until verification is complete

This ensures account ownership remains secure.
