Referral Program

What is the Referral Program?​

The Referral Program rewards you for inviting others to ReelBot.

It is designed to:

  • encourage organic growth
  • reward active users
  • align incentives fairly between referrer and referred users

The program is simple, transparent, and automatic.

Who can access the Referral Program?​

The Referral Program is available only to paid users.

If you are on a paid plan:

  • the Referral section appears in Account Settings
  • your referral code and link are visible

Free users do not see or earn referrals.

How referrals work​

Each paid user receives:

  • a unique referral code
  • a unique referral link

You can share either with friends, teams, or audiences.

Rewards breakdown​

Referred user reward​

When someone signs up using your referral link or code:

  • they receive 20% off their first payment
  • the discount applies automatically at checkout
  • the discount applies only to the first billing cycle

Referrer reward​

When the referred user completes their first successful payment:

  • you earn 20% credit of their first payment value
  • the credit is applied to your next subscription renewal
  • credits are monetary (not AI credits)

Credits are applied automatically — no action required.

When credits are applied​

Referral credits:

  • are applied to your next invoice
  • reduce the amount you are charged
  • do not stack infinitely beyond your renewal amount

If your credit exceeds the invoice:

  • remaining credit may roll over (depending on billing rules)

Tracking referrals​

From the Referral section, you can see:

  • your referral code
  • your referral link
  • number of referred users
  • total earned credits

This view is read-only and updated automatically.

What counts as a successful referral?​

A referral is counted when:

  1. a user signs up using your link or code
  2. the user subscribes to a paid plan
  3. the first payment succeeds

Trials, failed payments, or cancelled checkouts do not count.

What referrals do NOT do​

The Referral Program does not:

  • grant free subscriptions
  • grant AI credits
  • apply recurring discounts
  • apply retroactively
  • affect usage limits

It is strictly a billing incentive.

Abuse prevention​

To keep the program fair:

  • self-referrals are not allowed
  • duplicate accounts may be disqualified
  • fraudulent activity voids rewards

ReelBot reserves the right to revoke credits in case of abuse.

Cancelling or downgrading​

If you cancel your subscription:

  • unused referral credits may be forfeited
  • referral access is removed on downgrade to Free

Credits are tied to an active paid subscription.

Best practices for referrals​

For best results:

  • share your link with people who will actually use ReelBot
  • explain what ReelBot does before sharing
  • avoid spamming or bulk posting links
