X (Twitter) Channel
X support in ReelBot
ReelBot allows you to connect your X (formerly Twitter) account as a channel for direct video publishing.
Once connected, X becomes an available destination in the Publish Dialog for eligible videos.
ReelBot handles publishing execution, not engagement management.
What X integration supports
With a connected X channel, you can:
- publish videos directly from ReelBot
- post AI-generated or manually uploaded videos
- include post text (tweets)
- reuse the same video across multiple posts
Publishing is always explicit and user-initiated.
What X integration does NOT support
To set clear expectations, ReelBot does not currently:
- schedule posts for future times
- auto-publish content
- fetch or display analytics
- edit posts after publishing
- manage replies, likes, or threads
ReelBot focuses on creation and distribution — not social management.
Video considerations for X
When publishing videos to X:
- short-form vertical videos are supported
- captions are strongly recommended for silent viewing
- videos should be concise to maximize engagement
ReelBot prepares videos correctly, but performance depends on content strategy.
Post text behavior
For X publishing:
- the caption field in the Publish Dialog becomes the tweet text
- hashtags and mentions can be added manually
- character limits are enforced where applicable
ReelBot does not auto-generate copy.
Publishing flow for X
To publish a video to X:
- Connect your X account in Channels
- Open the Publish Dialog
- Select a video
- Choose X as a platform
- Enter post text
- Click Publish
Once published:
- the post is sent to X
- post quota is consumed
- the publish status is recorded in ReelBot
Draft posts and X
Draft posts can include X as a selected platform.
Drafts:
- are not published automatically
- can be edited freely
- are validated at publish time
If the X channel is disconnected before publishing, the draft must be updated.
Channel limits and plans
X channel availability depends on your subscription plan.
Limits may apply to:
- number of connected X accounts
- number of published posts per month
Your current limits are visible in:
- Channels
- Subscription & Usage
Error handling and failures
If publishing to X fails:
- the post is not published
- quota is not consumed
- a clear error message is shown
- you can retry after resolving the issue
Common causes include:
- expired authorization
- temporary platform issues
- exceeded limits
Removing an X channel
You can remove an X channel at any time.
Removing the channel:
- immediately disables future publishing
- does not affect existing posts on X
- does not delete drafts or projects
Drafts referencing X will need to be updated before publishing.
Best practices for X publishing
For better results on X:
- keep copy concise
- lead with a strong hook
- avoid cluttered visuals
- reuse high-performing formats
- batch drafts before publishing
Consistency outperforms volume.
The CreatorOps perspective
In CreatorOps, X is a distribution surface, not a feedback loop.
ReelBot:
- prepares the asset
- executes publishing reliably
- keeps intent explicit
Engagement and iteration remain in your control.
