TikTok Channel
TikTok support in ReelBot
ReelBot allows you to connect your TikTok account as a channel for direct video publishing.
Once connected, TikTok becomes an available destination in the Publish Dialog for eligible videos.
ReelBot handles publishing — not content strategy or analytics.
What TikTok integration supports
With a connected TikTok channel, you can:
- publish short-form videos directly from ReelBot
- post AI-generated or uploaded videos
- include caption text and hashtags
- reuse the same video across multiple posts
Publishing is explicit and user-initiated.
What TikTok integration does NOT support
To avoid confusion, ReelBot does not currently:
- schedule posts for future times
- auto-publish content
- read TikTok analytics
- edit posts after publishing
- manage comments or engagement
ReelBot focuses on creation and distribution, not post-management.
Video requirements for TikTok
When publishing to TikTok, videos should:
- be vertical (portrait orientation)
- follow short-form duration limits
- include readable captions for silent viewing
ReelBot prepares videos in a TikTok-friendly format, but content responsibility remains yours.
Captions and hashtags
When publishing to TikTok:
- the Publish Dialog caption field becomes the TikTok post text
- hashtags can be included manually
- ReelBot does not auto-generate hashtags
You control the final copy exactly as it appears.
Publishing flow for TikTok
To publish a video to TikTok:
- Connect your TikTok account in Channels
- Open the Publish Dialog
- Select a video
- Choose TikTok as a platform
- Enter caption text
- Click Publish
Once published:
- the post is sent to TikTok
- post quota is consumed
- the publish status is recorded
Draft posts and TikTok
Draft posts can include TikTok as a selected platform.
Drafts:
- do not publish until confirmed
- can be edited freely
- are validated at publish time
If the TikTok channel is disconnected before publishing, the draft must be updated.
Channel limits and plans
TikTok channel availability depends on your subscription plan.
Limits may apply to:
- number of connected TikTok accounts
- number of published posts per month
Your current limits are visible in:
- Channels
- Subscription & Usage
Error handling and failures
If publishing to TikTok fails:
- the post is not published
- quota is not consumed
- an error message is shown
- you can retry after resolving the issue
Common causes include:
- expired channel authorization
- temporary platform issues
- exceeded limits
Removing a TikTok channel
You can remove a TikTok channel at any time.
Removing the channel:
- disables future publishing
- does not affect existing TikTok posts
- does not delete drafts or projects
Drafts using TikTok will need adjustment before publishing.
Best practices for TikTok publishing
For better results:
- keep videos concise
- use clear, readable captions
- avoid overcrowding visuals
- reuse proven formats
- batch drafts before publishing
TikTok rewards clarity and consistency.
The CreatorOps perspective
In CreatorOps, TikTok is a distribution endpoint, not a creative engine.
ReelBot:
- prepares the asset
- delivers it reliably
- keeps publishing intentional
Strategy, timing, and iteration remain in your control.
