AI Topic Suggestions

What are AI topic suggestions?

AI Topic Suggestions help you quickly generate video ideas without starting from a blank page.

They are designed to:

  • spark direction, not replace intent
  • reduce decision fatigue
  • accelerate early-stage ideation
  • support batching workflows

Topic suggestions are optional — you always remain in control of the final topic.

Where topic suggestions are used

AI topic suggestions are available in:

  • the Video Studio → Topic step
  • both With Narration and Cinematic / Music Only flows

They are used only at the idea-definition stage.

How topic suggestions work

When you request topic suggestions:

  1. You enter keywords or short context
  2. ReelBot generates multiple topic options
  3. You review the list
  4. You select one topic to continue

Only the selected topic becomes active.

The others are discarded.

What influences topic suggestions

Topic suggestions are influenced by:

  • your entered keywords
  • selected tone
  • selected duration
  • selected content language
  • the chosen video type

This ensures suggestions fit the structure of the video you’re creating.

Tone-aware generation

Topic suggestions respect the selected tone.

For example:

  • Professional → direct, informational topics
  • Inspirational → motivational framing
  • Humorous → lighter, playful ideas
  • Educational → structured, explainer-style topics

Changing the tone will produce different topic styles.

Language behavior

Topic suggestions are generated in the selected content language.

If your interface language is not English, ReelBot may ask whether to:

  • generate content in your selected language, or
  • continue generating content in English

The choice applies consistently throughout the creation flow.

What topic suggestions do NOT do

To avoid confusion, topic suggestions do not:

  • generate scripts
  • write spoken content
  • lock you into a direction
  • auto-select a topic
  • overwrite manually entered topics

They exist to assist — not decide.

Editing or replacing a topic

After selecting a topic, you can still:

  • edit the text manually
  • replace it with your own topic
  • regenerate suggestions if needed

Changing the topic may require regenerating the script later.

ReelBot will warn you before clearing dependent steps.

Credits and usage

Generating topic suggestions:

  • consumes AI credits
  • does not consume video generation quota

Credits are used only when suggestions are generated — not when selecting or editing a topic.

Best practices for topic suggestions

To get better results:

  • use specific keywords
  • avoid full sentences
  • batch topic generation
  • finalize tone and duration first

Topic suggestions work best when inputs are clear.

When to skip topic suggestions

You may not need topic suggestions if:

  • you already have a clear idea
  • you’re working from a content plan
  • you’re iterating on an existing project

Manual topics are always supported.

The CreatorOps perspective

In CreatorOps, ideation should be assisted, not automated away.

Topic suggestions:

  • remove friction
  • preserve authorship
  • support scale without sameness

They help you move forward — not think for you.
