Voice Issues

How voice issues usually occur

Most voice-related issues are dependency or state related, not audio engine failures.

Voice generation in ReelBot depends on:

  • the script
  • selected language
  • selected voice
  • duration constraints
  • available AI credits
  • speech marks support

If any of these change, voice output must be regenerated.

Voiceover fails to generate

What it means

The voiceover generation did not complete successfully.

Common causes

  • AI credits exhausted
  • temporary external service issue
  • unsupported language/voice combination
  • script exceeds duration constraints

What to do

  1. Check AI credit usage
  2. Confirm the selected voice matches the chosen language
  3. Shorten the script if needed
  4. Retry generation

Failed voice generation does not consume video quota.

Voice generates but no audio plays

What it means

A voiceover exists, but playback fails.

Common causes

  • temporary playback issue
  • network interruption
  • browser audio restrictions
  • incomplete generation

What to do

  • refresh the page
  • retry playback
  • regenerate the voiceover if playback never works

Playback issues do not affect the generated video.

Voice pacing sounds rushed or slow

What it means

The voiceover feels unnatural or poorly paced.

Common causes

  • script too long or too short for duration
  • duration changed after scripting
  • dense sentence structure

What to do

  • adjust video duration
  • simplify or expand the script
  • regenerate the voiceover

Pacing always starts with duration choice.

Voice does not match the script

What it means

The spoken audio does not reflect the current script.

Common causes

  • script edited after voice generation
  • draft restored with older voice
  • regeneration skipped

What to do

  • regenerate the voiceover
  • regenerate the final video
  • confirm script is final before voice generation

Voice always reflects the last generated audio — not live text.

Word-by-word highlighting missing

What it means

Voice plays correctly, but captions are not highlighted.

Common causes

  • selected voice does not support speech marks
  • speech marks not regenerated
  • voice regenerated but video not regenerated

What to do

  1. Confirm the voice supports speech marks
  2. Regenerate the voiceover
  3. Regenerate the video

Speech marks are generated with the voice — not separately.

Voice options missing or limited

What it means

You see fewer voice options than expected.

Common causes

  • language selection limits available voices
  • plan-based voice access
  • temporary voice availability issue

What to do

  • confirm selected language
  • upgrade plan if needed
  • retry later if options are temporarily unavailable

Voice availability is language-specific by design.

Voice language sounds wrong

What it means

The voice accent or language is incorrect.

Common causes

  • language toggle set to English
  • mismatch between script language and voice language
  • language selection changed mid-flow

What to do

  • confirm content language at the start of Video Studio
  • regenerate script and voice
  • avoid changing language mid-flow

Language selection affects the entire pipeline.

Voice regeneration clears steps

What it means

Changing voice clears captions or downstream steps.

Why this happens

Voice changes affect:

  • speech marks
  • caption timing
  • pacing assumptions

ReelBot requires regeneration to preserve accuracy.

Voice sounds clipped or cut off

What it means

Audio ends too early or mid-sentence.

Common causes

  • script exceeds duration constraints
  • aggressive pacing due to short duration
  • regeneration after duration change skipped

What to do

  • increase duration
  • shorten script
  • regenerate voice and video

Audio trimming is intentional to respect duration.

Voice issues in Cinematic videos

Expected behavior

Cinematic / Music Only videos:

  • do not include voiceover
  • do not generate narration
  • rely on visuals and music only

This is expected and not an error.

What voice issues do NOT indicate

Voice issues do not mean:

  • corrupted videos
  • lost projects
  • publishing failure
  • broken captions permanently

They indicate a regeneration or dependency mismatch.

Best practices to avoid voice issues

  • finalize duration before scripting
  • finalize script before voice generation
  • avoid changing language or tone mid-flow
  • regenerate voice after any script change
  • save stable setups as templates

Voice quality rewards deliberate workflows.

When to contact support

Contact support if:

  • voice never generates despite available credits
  • supported voices lack speech marks unexpectedly
  • voice playback consistently fails across browsers
  • behavior contradicts documentation

Include:

  • your User ID
  • selected language and voice
  • script length and duration
  • exact error message

The CreatorOps perspective

In CreatorOps, voice is a derived artifact.

It reflects:

  • pacing decisions
  • language selection
  • script structure

ReelBot enforces regeneration to keep narration truthful — not approximate.

  • Caption Issues
  • Impacted Steps Warning

If the voice sounds wrong, something upstream changed — fix that first.
