Troubleshooting FAQ

General questions

Is ReelBot down?

If ReelBot is unavailable:

  • refresh the page once
  • check your internet connection
  • retry after a few minutes

Most issues are temporary or state-related, not outages.

Did I lose my work?

No.

ReelBot uses drafts extensively.

  • incomplete work is preserved
  • failed actions do not delete data
  • regeneration does not erase previous projects

If something looks missing, it’s usually waiting to be regenerated.

Creation & generation

Why is the Generate button disabled?

Because a required step is incomplete.

Common reasons:

  • no B-roll selected
  • voiceover not generated (Narrated videos)
  • impacted steps cleared by a settings change

Check the Review summary for missing items.

Why did ReelBot clear my script or voice?

You changed a structural setting (like duration or tone).

ReelBot shows a warning before clearing anything. This protects pacing, captions, and voice accuracy.

Why does regeneration create a new project?

Regeneration always creates a new Project.

This ensures:

  • traceability
  • comparison between versions
  • no silent overwrites

This is expected behavior.

Voice & captions

Why are captions out of sync?

Because captions depend on voice timing.

Common causes:

  • script edited after voice generation
  • duration changed
  • voice regenerated without regenerating the video

Fix by regenerating the voice and final video.

Why isn’t word-by-word highlighting working?

Possible reasons:

  • selected voice doesn’t support speech marks
  • voice was not regenerated
  • video was not regenerated after voice change

Speech marks are generated with the voice.

Why don’t Cinematic videos have captions?

Because Cinematic / Music Only videos:

  • do not use voiceover
  • do not generate captions

This is intentional.

Assets

Why can’t I upload more assets?

You may have reached your storage limit.

Check:

  • Subscription & Usage
  • storage breakdown

Delete unused assets or upgrade your plan.

Why doesn’t deleting an asset remove it from a video?

Generated videos embed assets at render time.

Deleting an asset:

  • removes it from the library
  • does not affect existing videos

This is expected.

Publishing

Why can’t I publish my video?

Publishing requires:

  • a connected channel
  • available post quota
  • required fields completed

Check Channels and Limits & Usage.

Why did publishing fail?

Common causes:

  • expired channel authorization
  • platform outage
  • plan does not support the platform

Failed publishes do not consume quota.

Can I schedule posts for a future time?

No. ReelBot does not support automated time-based scheduling.

ReelBot supports:

  • immediate publishing to TikTok, X, Instagram, and YouTube
  • draft posts for later manual publishing
  • downloading videos to use with external tools

Subscription & billing

Why is something blocked even though I upgraded?

Upgrades apply immediately, but the UI may need a refresh.

Refresh once and retry.

Why did my plan downgrade?

Likely due to:

  • cancellation
  • failed renewal payment

Your content remains intact.

Do AI credits roll over?

No.

AI credits:

  • reset daily
  • do not roll over
  • are not shared across days

Account & access

Why does ReelBot suggest a social login?

Because your email is linked to a social provider.

This prevents duplicate accounts and login confusion.

Can I delete my account?

Yes.

Account deletion:

  • is permanent
  • removes all data
  • cannot be undone

Download anything you want to keep first.

When should I contact support?

Contact support if:

  • behavior contradicts documentation
  • errors persist after following guidance
  • quota or billing looks incorrect
  • generation or publishing fails repeatedly

Include:

  • your User ID
  • the feature you were using
  • the exact message shown

Final reassurance

Most “issues” in ReelBot are:

  • guardrails
  • limit enforcement
  • dependency protection

They exist to keep output predictable and high-quality.

The CreatorOps perspective

In CreatorOps, systems are designed to:

  • fail loudly
  • protect work
  • enforce intent
  • avoid silent damage

If ReelBot stops you, it’s doing so for a reason — and it always tells you why.
