Common First-Time Questions

I’m new — am I using ReelBot the “right” way?

If you were able to generate a video, yes.

ReelBot is intentionally flexible. There is no single “correct” setup.
Most users improve results by:

  • running the full flow once
  • observing the output
  • then refining tone, assets, or branding

First success matters more than first perfection.

Why did a step reset or get cleared?

Some settings affect earlier steps in the creation flow.

Examples:

  • Changing duration affects the script and voiceover
  • Changing tone affects the topic and script
  • Changing language affects script generation and voice options

When this happens, ReelBot:

  • shows a warning explaining what will be cleared
  • resets only the steps that must be regenerated

This is intentional and prevents silent inconsistencies.

Why can’t I proceed to the next step?

This usually means a required action hasn’t been completed.

Common reasons:

  • no topic selected
  • script not generated
  • voiceover not generated (narration flow)
  • no B-roll selected
  • AI credits or video quota exhausted

The UI always indicates what’s missing before allowing you to continue.

Do I need to upload my own assets?

No.

ReelBot includes:

  • public B-roll videos
  • a shared music library

Uploading your own assets is optional and can be done later if needed.

Why does my video length not exactly match the selected duration?

For narration videos, the voiceover controls the final duration.

The duration setting:

  • guides script length
  • influences pacing

The actual video length matches the generated voiceover to ensure natural delivery and accurate captions.

Can I leave the Video Studio and come back later?

Yes.

ReelBot automatically saves your progress as a draft.

You can:

  • leave at any time
  • return later and continue from where you stopped

Once a video is generated successfully, the draft is removed and saved as a Project.

Can I regenerate parts of a video?

Yes.

You can:

  • regenerate the script
  • regenerate the voiceover
  • change assets
  • re-generate the full video

Regeneration is expected and supported — it’s part of the workflow.

Do templates save everything?

Templates save settings only, such as:

  • duration
  • tone
  • caption size
  • brand presets

Templates do not save:

  • selected B-roll
  • selected music

Those choices are stored in drafts or projects instead.

Do I need to connect social platforms to start?

No.

You can:

  • generate videos
  • preview and download them

Connecting platforms is only required if you want to publish directly from ReelBot.

Why do AI credits reset daily?

AI credits reset daily to:

  • keep usage predictable
  • prevent accidental overuse
  • ensure fair access across plans

You can always see:

  • how many credits you’ve used
  • what actions consume credits

This information is visible in the app.

Is my content reused or shared with others?

No.

Your:

  • projects
  • scripts
  • voiceovers
  • generated videos
  • uploaded assets

are private to your account.

Shared libraries only apply to public assets like music or stock videos.

What if something doesn’t work as expected?

If you encounter an issue:

  1. Check Troubleshooting & FAQs
  2. Review usage limits and credits
  3. Try regenerating the affected step

If the issue persists, support options are available depending on your plan.
