Publishing to X (Twitter)
How ReelBot supports X
ReelBot supports direct publishing to X (Twitter) through connected channels.
This allows you to:
- publish generated videos without leaving ReelBot
- reuse videos across multiple posts
- manage drafts and published posts in one place
Publishing to X is optional — you can always download videos and post manually if you prefer.
Connecting an X account
To publish to X, you must first connect an account.
You can do this from:
- Channels, or
- the publish dialog when creating a post
Each connected X account appears as a separate channel and counts toward your plan’s channel limit.
You can remove a channel at any time.
Publishing a video to X
You can publish to X from two places:
- the Review screen after video generation
- the Projects page for completed videos
Publishing steps
- Choose a video (generated or uploaded)
- Enter a post text (optional but recommended)
- Select the X channel
- Publish immediately or save as a draft
ReelBot sends the video and post content directly to X.
Drafts and reuse
ReelBot separates videos from posts.
This means you can:
- save draft posts for X
- publish the same video multiple times
- reuse videos across different posting strategies
Drafts are useful for:
- spacing posts over time
- preparing content in batches
- revisiting copy later
Video format considerations for X
ReelBot generates videos that are compatible with X by default.
Best practices for X:
- keep videos concise
- ensure captions are readable on small screens
- avoid excessive on-screen text
- prioritize clarity in the first few seconds
Vertical videos work well for X’s feed and timeline viewing.
Captions and post text
On X:
- the video carries most of the message
- post text provides context or framing
Tips:
- don’t repeat the script verbatim
- add a short hook or takeaway
- keep post text concise and readable
ReelBot does not auto-generate post text by default, allowing you to keep messaging intentional.
Publishing limits and usage
Publishing to X counts toward:
- your plan’s post limit
- the number of connected channels allowed
If a post fails to publish, ReelBot will indicate the status and allow you to retry or adjust.
Using X as part of a CreatorOps strategy
X works best when used as:
- a distribution channel for ideas
- a place for concise insights
- a complement to higher-volume platforms
Many creators:
- generate once in ReelBot
- post variations of the same video over time
- pair videos with different text framing
ReelBot’s project-based system supports this reuse naturally.
When to publish manually instead
You may prefer manual posting if:
- you want to experiment heavily with copy
- you’re responding to real-time conversations
- you’re testing platform-specific tactics
ReelBot supports this by making downloads easy and reusable.
The takeaway
ReelBot’s X integration is designed to:
- reduce friction
- preserve control
- support reuse and consistency
It helps you publish efficiently without turning distribution into a black box.
